Beginnings
Healthy Beginnings LLC is owned and operated by Jenny Beth Kroplin,
RD, LDN, CLC. Jenny Beth is a Registered Dietitian, a Licensed
Dietitian/Nutritionist, and a Certified Lactation Consultant. Jenny
Beth's professional training includes in-hospital experience with
Baptist Hospital and Saint Thomas Health Services in Nashville,
Tennessee, and a diversified experience as a territory business manager in Middle Tennessee with Bristol Myers Squibb and Mead
Johnson Nutritions. Her expertise is primarily focused on dietetics
and nutrition for women and families.
Jenny
Beth's mission is to offer extensive and complete nutrition
therapy for the women and families of Middle Tennessee. Her expertise
and
passion in the field of nutrition is what drives her efforts
to serve clients with any nutritional needs or challenges they may
have. Jenny Beth also has a passion to provide the most
up-to-date
nutritional information possible so that Tennessee doctors and therapists know who to call when faced with
nutritional challenges.
Jenny
Beth began her career at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, as
a Registered Dietitian. While at Baptist, she specialized in
Neonatal, Obstetric, and General Medicine Dietetics. Her
hands-on experiences with patients
at Baptist included, but were not limited to, nutrition therapy for
patients
ranging from premature infants to adults, neonatal and adult
tube feedings,
counseling patients on various diet restrictions and drug/food
interactions, and dietetic screening and assessments.
Jenny Beth also worked several years as a representative for Mead Johnson Nutritions in the Middle Tennessee area, which included eight territory hospitals and a wide-range of physician offices. Aside from great success in increasing her company's market share, as a Mead Johnson nutrition expert, Jenny Beth worked side-by-side with physicians, neonatologists, and nurses regarding the intricate details of family nutrition, infant nutrition, child nutrition, specialty needs in metabolic disorders and nutrition, and alternatives to breastfeeding.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Jenny Beth has authored a nutrition newsletter for a Nashville speech pathology practice and has guest lectured at Lipscomb University, Vanderbilt University, Middle Tennessee State University, as well as at local businesses and churches. Jenny Beth is a current member of the American Dietetic Association, the President-Elect of the Nashville District Dietetic Association, a member of the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice as a Certified Lactation Consultant, a member of the Women's Nutrition Practice Group, and a former member of the the Entrepreneur and Pediatric Nutrition Practice Groups.

In her free time, Jenny Beth
enjoys
spending time with her husband and son, participating in church
activities, exercising, and volunteering with the Nashville Children's Alliance, the United Way of Nashville,
and the Rob Bironas Fund.
